Palm Pre Owners.....Do you like your Palm Pre?

Question

I am thinking about getting a Palm Pre, as I have very few problems wherever I go with my Sprint phone as far as coverage. I would like to be able to get a phone so I can access Covers and my sportsbooks wherever I am, so I am intrigued by the Palm Pre.

I know Depeche had one right when it came out. I was wondering if he, or anybody else, would recommend this phone. Or have you fallen for another instead by now?

Looking at the Palm Pre myself for Verizon. Currently using the Droid Eris, really like it and all but I still prefer a physical keyboard and not those touch screen crap.

Anyone who has previous experience with Palm Pre, especially Verizon, please chime in.

Hey Depeche,&#xD;&#xA;Just wanted to know if your phone holds up well over time, oyu know how after a few months the shine is off and you might not like a product as well.....&#xD;&#xA;Also, asking like does it shutdown due to updates too often? My wife has one and it does well for her, she loves it. But she doesn&#x27;t post on covers with it (LOL) or place bets with it so I wondered if you had done so and if you are happy with internet ability of the phone. Also the 3G coverage....is it good?&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;I might get a phone soon so I wanted to see how people like this phone because it&#x27;s on top of my list right now. It&#x27;d be nice to watch NFL Network when I&#x27;m out and about as well. LOL My priorities are just a bit askew.

I actually don&#x27;t bother to post on Covers with it (though I have just to see and could -- its not that easy cuz any phone&#x27;s screen is small).  I have only placed a few bets -- some sites work well, others do not.  Matchbook does not work well at all, but I don&#x27;t think that is unique to the Pre.  Shutdown due to updates?  Not sure what you mean.  I have had the phone freeze on me -- when I tried to access Matchbook.  Internet works great.  My coverage is good, but coverage just depends entirely on where you are.I use it a lot for email and it works great for that.  Also like the contacts book and calendar.  Phone does nicely too.The keys are small, so try it out and see if it works for you.
