Transferring Television to DVD?

Question

I was wondering what people use as far the the easiest/best quality for transferring your TIVO saved shows to DVD? Also, do they actually work and is the quality that good

I was also wondering if the technology was simple like that of the VHS where you can STOP and RECORD at will ( to essentially fast-forward commercials).

I got nothing for ya on this one. I just use Window Media Center to record shows.

Linesman, I have windows media center on my computer, so how do I record movies or shows?

EricLinny,You need to have the TiVO desktop software installed on your PC.This PC also has to be networked w/ the TiVO.I&#x27;m sure there are other ways but this seems the easiest.Cheers

&#xD;&#xA;Make sure you have a TV card in your computer.  If not, you can pick one up at pretty any much big box store.  Best Buy probably best selection. &#xD;&#xA;A usb one is best if you don&#x27;t want to get inside your computer. After that you can start media center and it should give you a walk through on setting up the tuner.&#xD;&#xA;Or the tuner you purchase will have viewing and recording software also.  I just like media center pretty well.
