Yeh, Nintendo should do something to improve security too. Don't get me wrong, I support anti-cheat and do not intend to pirate games. Developers should earn fair share for their work. Also believe one can use the product to it's full potential as intended, advertised and promoted to consumers. Purchased the product in a legitimate manner, used it in accordance with agreements. It is true Sony claims it is optional to update, by not updating, other functions won't work (access online, play Blu-ray new movies, etc.). Seems like either they chop your hands or your feet, you can choose but they got to chop something. It is to protect the company because as long as you got both, you can steal and run. Adding security should be better than crippling a very good product.
