My Vista is currently fucked. Something happened to my registry and now I can't change my wallpaper. Microsoft's answer is to reinstall Vista. Geniuses.

The first time I installed it, about a week later my media center just disappeared -- gone; no movies, music, TV. I sure as hell didn't delete it. How the hell does something just disappear off of your computer. I did a reinstall and (six hours later) had everything back.
Now I'm having a problem where my computer freezes up at random times and I have to open up the task manager to shut everything down and start over. I've pretty much figured out that it has something to do with the flash player and vista as I can uninstall flash and get rid of the problem. (this was after another round of registry cleaner, defrag, and clean install -- another 10-12 hours of my life up in smoke) Which is the smaller inconvenience, not having any flash, or starting up the task manager 3 times in an hour?
Plus my shit runs considerably slower than it did with xp.
I've got some other bitches too, but I can't think of them right now.
OTOH, the media center is pretty cool -- the movie maker has pretty much everything a novice would need, and watching TV on the computer has come in pretty handy.
