Here’s another match that I am playing to try and build my bankroll for my favorite sport to wager on which is college football. I will use this match in a 2-team parlay as I have been doing recently and keep the 2nd team “OPEN” and if I win today, I will pick a college game and team in 3- or 4-weeks’ time to complete my 2-team parlay.
B. Coric played 1 match in the ATP 1000 in Toronto and loss to Vukic ranked #51.
He then went to another ATP 1000 event in Cincinnati last week and played 2 matches beating Korda and losing in a 3 setter to Hurkacz,
He played yesterday and won a 2 round match against Hijikata at Winston Salem North Carolina.
I believe and think that Coric having only played 4 matches in 2 and a half weeks really needs and wants a few more tourney matches under his belt (not practice sessions) before the US open starts on Monday.
What this means to me is that he is truly committed and motivated and will put forth maximum effort and try to use this match as real time practice and not tank or give up nor retire.
“If” he does play up to his ranking and normal levels, he should win this match.
Back last month in July Coric beat Davis Goffin at the Hopman cup and loss a very hard-fought match the next day to Alcaraz in a Tiebreaker.
He loss to Tsitsipas in Cabo San Lucas Mexico in the semi’s a few weeks ago.
So, winning or losing this match today against M. Mmoh is all on Coric’s racquet.
If Coric is motivated like I am betting that he is, he should pull through and I have my money on him doing so.
