Haven't been much of a tennis bettor but I think starting with this Aussie Open I might start. Always wanted to try it see how I do, one of those sports that maybe could have some good value.
Started to do some research and might throw some on these futures:
ATP - JOKER (+389) - ZVREV (+986)
I think there is value here. Joker is still Joker although he is on the decline you can never count him out. I think Zvrev has a shot as well and I really like these odds, getting close to +1000. I think the winner is going to come down to Joker, Zvrev, Sinner or Alcaraz. Sinner is the favorite but I could see him slip up. His current odds of +138 are terrible. Alcaraz I don't see him winning.
WTA - GAUFF (+383) and RYBAKINA (+850)
I will bite on the hype train I keep hearing about how she is going to be the next big thing in Women's tennis. Maybe the next Williams. In any event I have a gut feeling Coco is going to come away winning this. Rybakina is a strictly value play, I think if it's not Gauff then Rybakina has a good shot at winning and those odds are good. Sabalenka is the fave at +222 but I don't think she is winning this. As always, Women's tennis is harder to cap so I look for value.
Any opinions on this is welcome

I dont buy the hype on Coco at all. She couldnt hold a Williams maxi pad. She belongs nowhere near that convo and she’ll continue to disappoint when it matters. When alls said and done she might have a couple open titles thats about it. Lots of quarter final n semi final exits await her career. She just isnt clutch

Love Djoker and Zverev. I'm not sure the AO is it, but I feel strongly Zverev wins his first grand slam this year. The doping controversy and likely near suspension for Sinner can't be good for his psychology, although the AO is a perfect fit for his game. Alcaraz hasn't proven he can advance deep in this tourney. If Djoker has 1 more in him, this tournament is it. GL.
