Two players on around the same ranking, Cllic 10, Goffin 12. Interesting game. Cllic coming off a solid title win in Basel. While Goffin had a win lose win lose ratio in his past 2 tournament. Goffin got a 3 -0 head to head record against Cllic which i was surprised to see. All of these wins have been this year. 2 on hardcourt and one in Davis Cup. Cllic is the better player in my eye. He got more weapons and when he on he on,and in the last week he been on. Goffin is a crafty player works on you but just missing something. He hasn't won a tournament for a couple of years now suggesting that his game is not threating and needs errors from better players. Cllic has at times play a fair bit below his best he can be hot and cold but to me he on fire at the moment. He won a glam slam and can stay on the hot mode for a least a few weeks. Goffin will feel and know that he can beat him as i mention earlier he holds a credit record over the Croatian. But i betting on the Gameline. Cllic -2.5 1u. Set betting a bit dodgy and not confident in be straight sets. Goffin may take a set. I taken the game line as i feel that Cllic can win a set on quick time and wipe that minus in no time.
