I believe Djoker will end up with at least 15 slams minimum by the end of his career. At 28 yrs old, he's showing no signs of slowing down and had one of his best year ever winning 3 slams and making the finals to all four slams.
Djoker still has another 3 good years minimum ahead of him and he will average at least 2 slams per year in those years, making him finish with 16 slams and possibly even trying the great Fed if he can sprinkle in a French Open title.
For Federer, I don't know if he has another slam title left in him. He'll continue to make slam finals but approaching 35 next year, I just can't see another slams title remaining in his career thus Roger will end up with 17 slams all said and done.
It's going to be interesting to see how Djokovic has progressed from that 17 year old kid playing Wimbledon to quite possibly the best player of all time if he ties Roger's slams record.

The next measure of greatness in tennis(behind slam titles) are Masters 1000 titles. Federer currently has 42 Masters 1000 titles vs Djokovic's 36. It's almost a guarantee that Djoker will surpass Fed with masters 1000 titles.
If Djokovic equals Fed with 17 slams total and more Masters 1000 titles, will this make him the greatest player ever to play the game?
Keep in mind, his era is also the toughest to win slams with the competition.

with the way Djokovic takes care of himself, diet, training etc. he will be in this form for atleat 3-4 years. o that means 2-3 GS a year ( i think 2 per year is sure thing ) and now with Rafa being out from RG ( those 2-3 are even more possible ) means that Joker will have 20 GSs by the end of his era.

Fed will most likely not win another one. Rafa? maybe and i say MAYBE one more RG even tho i dont believe it.
Novak? 8-10 more. Tell me who is going to beat him on a constant basis? Wawa? Murray? Maybe those two in half the GS. But in 4 years there are 16 GS to be won and i see Novak in half of them.

You might one or two great younger players coming through in the next couple of years who could challenge in slams. It could be topsy turvy and less unpredictable than people presume.

Look at the U.S. Open 2014, nobody expected Cilic or Nishikori to make the finals yet let alone Cilic winning it......

Popeye jones you've got egg all over your face. Querrey took him out at wimby early on and (gulp) istomin took him out early at aussie.
Most if the time, anointments end badly but keep talking

Anyway. NO chance he wins 6 slams in the next 6 years? That's 1 slam a year. He's probably got 3-4 years of prime left. You don't think he can win 2 slams a year over the next several years? Really? He's 6 months removed from his career peak level. He's got time to regroup.

At this point i think he'll struggle to get more than a tie with rafa at 14. 15 looks very tough. 16 looks way too ambitious. He shoukdve regrouped after going out in rd 3 at wimby to querrey.
