I've noticed the better player loses the first set very often but wins the match

Griekspoor T just won 6900 Euro last week, he can get a 4,5x return on that in less than an hour and no one would really question him about it. In no other industry can you get these returns guaranteed and get away with it.

We saw it earlier with Zapata Miralles B, he was a 1.18 favourite was 2-0 then lost 6-2 first set and then retired. If you are injured and need to retire why wait for the first set to end? If you feel you are injured you need to quit as soon as possible or you will only make the injury worse. He waited for the first set to end so that all bets against him would stand.

We see this all the time in Challengers and even on ATP level.

We will wait and see but I'm not going to be surprised if we see something similar with Grikspoor, and I don't know if you can blame him, If I was 25 years old and just won 6900 euros and could turn that into 31k in one set, I would probably do it as well.

After they win a tournament in the best spot, they will be heavy favourites so the odds will be good, they could just lose the first set then try to win the match, they can always have an excuse about playing too many matches the week before.

my favorite bet is betting someone to break immediately after getting broken Lol

I also enjoy live betting the pre-match favorite when they are down a set/game to get better odds
