Not so fast my friend...a few thoughts for you to chew on:
Seems to me that the books have adjusted their ML fav odds...what used to be a -175 is now a -275...they are making the bettor pay a heavier premium for a slight fav, as they know the odds are tilted in their favor with more dogs winning straight up as they typically do in the +150 to +175 range....so people will have no choice and still lay the chalk with their favs...and we all know favs in tight coinflip type matches dont always win.
Tsonga loves Australian Open based on his record here...sure hes not the Tsonga of old, but if he wakes up on the right side of the bed, hes capable of beating almost anyone...and then again, last year he melted in the brain multiple matches in slams to virtual nobodies...does he get up for Kyrgios?
I think -260 is way too risky here pregame...why not wait and see if Tsonga wins the first set, see where Nicks head is at, and if he still has positive energy, take Kyrgios live down a set wherr he will likely be even money or better yet around +125

Have you guys watched the matches or just going by ranks and odds?? Lol. Kyrgios has looked pretty good so far. Tsonga just played a pretty tough match coming back late in the 5th set. It doesn't matter if someone loves a tournament. Its just a location. Form tells all. I think Kyrgios looks level headed and is using a nice mix of shots. Crowd behind him. I have Kyrgios winning 7-6 6-4 6-3

Most people dont remember Federer was no different than Kyrgios when he was a youngster...some talents need more time to grow up.
For Nick, if he just comes out of the closet sooner rather than later, all the added pressure will subside and finally he would be able able to fully focus on his tennis career. Until then, he will always be looking over his shoulder for the next TMZ sleazeball looking to out him.

I'm just not convinced Tsonga is 100% motivated. I see other wise for Kyrgios. Looks like a serious year of tennis for him. I just him really enjoying himself this tourney.

he's at home feeling the pressure of the country like Murray did, and he plays aggressive as it is..flair, takes chances, plays off emotion which can lead to mistakes, too much energy, didn't even know he was happy but this personality doesn't work until you get older...
Ask Jordan, Jose Conseco, Carmelo Anthony(who's still trying to figure it out)

Lol come on now..some may remember my last SLAM....US Open winning over 10k. I know what I'm doing when it comes to tennis. There's a reason why Kyrgios is over -200. Its not because hes at home....hes playing better tennis. Tsonga was basically out of the tournament.....with his match going the length. 2 players going opposite directions. Kyrgios ain't slipping in this one.... PM me for all my picks. Using twitter mostly. On fire so far for this AO.

I took Kyrgios and went to bed. He is most definitely on the uprise. Great, close match, but you can tell that what was mentioned above seems to be true. Glad I laid the juice.

BigD...your betting instincts are typically spot on...glad I didn't sway you off this winner...no shame betting the chalk in this range when it hits comfortably and all the angles were in your favor....nicely done...had I found a secondary match to pair this one with on a 2 player ML parlay, I would have tailed you without a doubt.
Nick's girlfriend must be one special piece of tail
