I haven’t seen anyone talk about this kid yet. He’s a 18 year old American and ran off a 25 match win streak in 30 days that ended last week. 34-3 on the season on hard courts starting at ITF’s and continuing the dominance on challenger. Bet him yesterday and he saved a match point off serve in a second set tiebreak before delivering a bagel in the third set.
Today playing Hugo grenier who let’s admit it, stinks. He was supposed to play two matches yesterday so I was able to get him at open at -138, the line has moved considerably since the rain allowed him and extra day of rest but I’m definitely not fading this kid anytime soon.

Not able to see much film of him but he attended USC for one semester before going pro last year. He’s lefty probably doesn’t have a huge serve but has a very above average every other shot. Very good touch at the net, I haven’t seen enough to give any comparisons to who he plays like but I profited heavily on GPP’s early season dominance at lower levels before making the move up and that’s what I’ll continue to do with tien. If he wins this tourney he cracks the top 200 so I’m sure he’s extra fired up about that

His win streak was over the course of closer to two months, the European format for listing M/D/Y instead as D/M/Y confused me but regardless he has beaten almost all the top challenger players currently during that win steak
i only have 1 book for challengers and ITF’s and it has him now at -188

He won’t be anything special at the ATP level. Sure he’ll have a solid career but nothing about him screams to get excited about the American to actually compete with the big boys. Shelton better prospect

Have you seen him play? We’ll see where he is in three years at Shelton age. I’ve watched all film I could find and he has 0 holes besides the serve, if he can develop a serve the rest of his game reminds me of young Federer if I had to pick the closest atp comparison and I’m not even joking

Ive seen him before he's nowhere near Shelton's level at anything really, movement, groundstrokes, serve, volley, nothing, but hopefully he'll grow into something special
