Monfils (#44) comes from injury break but was very solid on the 1st round against Rochus (6-3,6-2).
Yesterday Gael beat his country-fellow Mahut like I speculated!
Gael is very sporty and fast player and his movement is almost acrobatic! He is a very good indoor surfaces player and has even won three ATP titles on indoor hard! He was a champion here in 2009 and also won Montpellier ATP title in 2010 in his home courts. Gael was even ranking #7 on July 2011, but has suffered from many injuries especially on the last season.
Kohli (#18) is a decent all-surface playr whose has taken titles on all outdoor surfaces! This season the was the champion in Munchen´s clay on April. The German has played well season with record 38-20. The German was on QFinals in Wimbledon and on the 4th round in US open. He came from three weeks break and beat local Paire 2-1 having a lot of toubles and up and downs during the match!
2H2 is 6-1 to Monfils and three wins just on indoor hard and wins on three different surfaces.
In front of the home audience Monfils should beat unstable Kohli!
The odds are a little bit short, but anyway I see some value!
