I backed Monaco vs Paire and although he won I was dissapointed.. Paire was clearly not motivated but Monaco struggled.. His service was inconsistent and got punished by Paire.. Both his first and second. Monaco also was lackluster on Paire his service, only returning 32% on first and just over 50% on Paire his second service.
Querrey is serving well this tourney and he showed that yesterday against Becker. He is playing aggressive and he tries to dominate the rallies.. Something Monaco couldn't do at all yesterday.
You will have your reasons of course.. But from watching both matches yesterday, I can't pick Monaco anymore, he still isn't playing on his best and he needs more against Querrey who won't make that many unforced errors like Paire did.

Querry 7-2 at this tourny, Monacco, 3-2. Is querry goes deep he's got the next week off and hes still at home. Monacco's been jn the US for the last few weeks and probably wants to go home. Like Paire!

Going to be a good match but I like Querry.... last time they met almost a year ago on clay... Monaco smoked Q..... so why are the odds even for this one....
Monaco is not in top form. He has only played 8 matches so far in 2016... not looking sharp... not vs Paire... and Monacos lsat match of 2015 was Aug 3rd..... that is one hell of a lay off.
Quarry has played 20 matches so far in 2016.... won most of them... wins over some solid names. been playing all last fall of 2015 too....
also last 3 years in this tournament Querry has... 2015 winner 2014 semifinal 2013 Quarters....
reverse trend. Monaco is 32... can't play volume year round...Querry is 28.... think monaco is rusty and aging ...
Q is in form so edge to Q...
at the very least if not Q i wouldn't bet on this match....better ones to go with today.

noticed Monaco has not won 3 matches in a row at any tournament any surface since March of 2015 ...at miami.... won two plenty but never 3rd in a row...
Is Querry the guy to end that run.... ? maybe.... don't think so though
