She is the come back queen it seems. I woudn't count her out. Carlos seems to play the same way too. We shall see but both #1s in round three. I will take my chances. BOL to both of us!

I’m not worried yet. If they both fell behind a set and a break, then its worry time.
Iga should be able to take this one home. Alcaraz might have some left over doubts from their last week match. But that was a totally different situation. He should roll here.

Carlos with the 1st set and Iga with the 2nd set. Hopefully Carlos wins set two and Iga set three and we are all good. If this wins I am going to kick myself for not putting a little more on the +232.

Yea. Thats tempting. I felt like I was getting good odds at -215 and I wasn’t comfy losing anymore on a tournament like this. You never know with these players. They can have bad days so you can compound your losses pretty easily.

Thats completely understandable. I have been there many many many times in other sports/spots. But I wasn't heavily invested. Might be my bad. We will see.

This is definitely either more of a battle than Carlos would have thought, or he is just having a hard time closing it out and making a lot of unforced errors. I am not watching the match only seeing updates so I can't say.

Looks like rain delays. Dude I hope these delays really break up any momentum Paul might have. Up 5-3 in the third set. Lets finish him Carlos. Break Paul's serve one time and finish him on your serve.

I nodded off. Happy with the result!
The courts in Cincy are fast. Most top players kinda take the Toronto and cincy tournament with a grain of salt. I think they go in hoping to win but they have their eyes in the US open at this point. The masters leading up to the Open are very different court conditions. When I see guys like Alcaraz, Djokovic, Rune, Tsitsipas, Medvedev losing early, I just think it’s cause they’re working on something else. It’s not uncommon to find only one or two of the too seeds left at these tournaments in the QF.
