I think it is a good line with &#x2B;EV but the reason is because Makarova is on a hot streak (technically speaking) and Goerges struggled in her last match.  The streak of Makarova was as much about her opponents as her, and Goerges struggled because the girl she played was super good and played the game of her life.In addition, while Goerges is super intelligent, she has been known a time or two to walk in and flop hard.  Makarova is no slouch but if you&#x27;ve been carefully watching these girls play the line should be around -165 or so.

Makarova has also beaten her both times, although those matches were 1 and 3 years ago

Form and recency bias always plays a role in day to day tennis lines...if a line looks fishy, sometimes best to stay away...Goerges is having a career year, and she is the better play as of "now"...thus getting this line is a bargain if you tjink she will win....anyone who caps this one in favor of Makarova is simply getting a bad line at only +100 or +110, thus the correct wager would be to pass if you capped it for Makarova.

This is a good spot for Makarova. In many ways. And line is one of them. The is a reason line is &#x2B;120 and shall be &#x2B;220!
