Rarely share my stuff, but here we go...
My only problem at all with this play is that it looks TOO easy. Verdasco is playing better tennis and has beaten Almagro 3 straight times on clay. Almagro may be rested after a bye in the semifinals, but he hasn't been tested against any players of quality thus far in this tournament.
However, a clear explanation for Verdasco being the dog is that he played a grueling doubles match yesterday.
(A match that he and his partner almost beat the best doubles team in the world in the Bryan bros) and Verdasco also played in the semi's yesterday. Verdasco was impressive in both matches.
In short, Verdasco is the stronger player and has proven that over time. He is playing better tennis and has already felt the pressure of a finals in this tournament. There is great value at +155 also in the 1st set at +135.
