Won 2 titles to start the year. You hate to see it. Played way way too many matches leading into this event. Looks ragged against the qualifier Chris O&#x27;Connell.  In a real dogfight. You probably havent heard of O&#x27;Connell but he will be off the challenger tour soon as he&#x27;s about to break into the top 100.  Still, this would be the first titanic upset of the tournament.  Meanwhile, his countryman Medvedev can absolutely win this tournament.

I am really really impressed with OConnell. He&#x27;s got alot of game. Rublev really having to raise his level here.

Dude u talk way too early on everything.O Connel is legit decent player on clay and hard courts.

Rublev didnt care about that 2nd set once he got broken initially. That doesnt mean he is gassed or dont want to win lol.

Its a 5 set match. Always bet the sets. Not game spread in slams.
