Firstly I still believe Safina has the game, she just lost confidence, so she can win in a match vs Safarova if they both gave their max. Secondly, I doubt Safarova will give her max. Kuala Lumpur isn't that big of a tournament, there are bigger tourneys coming up ( last year she played Monterrey - lost in the first round to Coin ), and then there is the next round matchup vs Bartoli. Safarova is known for tanking matches, she has a 0:3 record vs Bartoli and the way Bartoli has been performing I doubt she has a chance. She hasn't played that many tourneys in Asia, so I doubt she's used to the climate here.
Safina on the other hand dropped out of the top 100, has been a horror lately and she needs to start winning matches. This is a disgrace to a former number 1 and she knows it. She won the first round, I doubt she can pass the Bartoli either but she needs this win more than Safarova does.
IMO this is clear value and I'm on it. Good Luck!

Safina to get back to her losing ways. Sure she won very comfortablly against Han Solo yesterday which was expected but she still had her serve broken twice. You dont suddenly find form after one win in five months. It will be a while before she beats anyone in the top 50.
Im really missing the ATP
