Wow. Loses to Ungur. Who is that? Seppi just cost me a boatload as he was in all three parlays that I had for today. This guy cost me a couple of months back in the same fashion. A heavy favorite put into parlays and then blows them all up.
Seppi losing to two no names has cost me over 2k. I am beyond pissed right now.

Hmm. I do not think there is much to complain about from Seppi here. I had him for a half unit in a parlay to pass the time. The best half unit I ever lost because Unger was fantastic. Seppi plays with great consistency but also has a lot of margin on his shots. His style even when he is at his best is inherently careful and allows others to dictate. Unger did that in fantastic fashion. He was truly painting the lines today and it was the best underdog performance I have ever seen.
This Romanian played the match of his life today, I am sure of it. That is what the game is all about. I think it was probably a one time thing but I am wildly impressed by how he played given that he is ranked worse than 140.
Seppi choked a lot today but was forced into much of it and for 80% of the match he played at his average, solid but not spectacular level and Unger was beating him even then.

I watched this match and there was no way in hell this was a fix by Seppi. Anyone who watched would surely agree, unless they are so mad about losing money on Seppi as to be fully irrational. He wanted this but no doubt who wanted it more, and with Unger the one going for broke all day, and unexpectedly making it, he deserved it as well.
He plays Phau next, I think.

Lets Hope Fabbio against Kohlschreiber doesn't have one of these....

Well thanks BP. That makes me feel so much better about losing 2k on this bum. NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No excuse for him to lose this match after taking the 1st set 6-3.

btw best match I have seen in a ;long time and maybe the best i have seen all year in a mickey mouse tournament. I thought both guys fought tooth and nail out there and it was thrilling to watch, Seppi's craftiness and consistency vs Unger's go for broke no holds barred approach. Superior aggression won in the end but it was by a razor thin margin.

Not trying to make you feel better because that would be damned impossible. I am shocked anyone would put 2gs on parlays with Seppi in them. I like the guy but he is a born choker. Just had to express somewhere my appreciation of this match, and if you had not noticed im heavily hinting that Unger is a good bet next round, probably as a nice dog there too. That is the relevant point. I think he can make me my money back, maybe a piece of yours, but please do not bet unless you actually watched him today. guy was awesome today but who knows if it lasts.

I can't remember BP what your thought were on Kohlschreiber. I know I've heard you speak on him when he was playing Fed and Rafa.....
idk who he is playing and dont trust him with -700 juice but hope he wins because he has a ton of talent and could do well in a tournament like this or even win it.

I'm saying he could take this whole Tourney from the looks of the competition...

exactly why I generally shy away from big faves going up against players in their home countries in these small tournaments
there are loads of challenger level players that just seem to step it up for the ONE 250 that their country gets to see every year (Vinciguerra at Bastad last year made a crazy run that he had no business making)
