Stearns won her match 6-0,1-6, 6-1. Bizarre score line from one extreme to another. Also, the over 20.5 games didn&#x27;t even hit even though it went 3 sets. Most 3 setters in the wta goes over about 98% of the time. This is a rare occurrence. Bizarre to say the least.

Yep. What happened was somehow Stearns found out that I had been contemplating all morning whether to take her in straight sets or take -4.5 games. When she found out I took straight sets I guess she decided to tank the second set. That&#x27;s my running theory at least.
