There is zero handicapping or angle on any of these men or women players. I have not bet tennis in over a month .. so I’m not salty about any particular match at the moment .. the only angle I see is to bet like 100$ on the underdog at + money for shits n giggles. I’m sure someone will have a comment as to what I’m doing wrong wagering on tennis.. I’m sure I will wager again .. but this sport is unpredictable as hell.

My primary advice would be to either focus on ATP or WTA - there are enough difference between the two; what stats are the most important etc. to argue it should be treated like two different sports almost - and if I don’t go meme like Indian wells where I tried to win all matches (but that was mostly for fun) - then I would also advice you to limit who you follow to like 10-20 players - and learn everything about them - what styles they excel against - are they slow starters or fast starters - do they often make comebacks etc. Most of my profit comes from 5 different players (I know everything about basically down to what they ate that morning) and I have bet on tennis more or less as my full time job - for the past 7 years

The stupidest thing about you tank. Is that you think it is an advantage having worked as a coach (we are going to assume here that you even have coached of course) the ONLY thing having played tennis yourself can help you with in betting terms - is understanding the mental struggles the players go through in different parts of a game and since being a coach doesn’t give you that info automatically it is more or less irrelevant for your betting if you have coached or not - unless you have been a mental coach - but knowing how you talk and behave I find that highly unlikely - almost impossible

We’re in a phase of tennis betting we’re unfamiliar with. The top players have the steepest lines and yet they don’t have the success of the all time greats. Playing dogs feels safer especially with the top players. And the field have narrower margins.
Capping tennis is very hard. I run hot and cold. Players run hot and cold.
You could try live betting. Don’t follow the score board, watch the momentum shifts. WTA 125 and 250’s can be a could place to play the dogs.

Personally I like to watch the first few games before betting. I play tennis competitively and body language/energy tells a lot. I don't just mean wait to see who is playing better and bet, but look for opportunities where it is clear someone isn't really engaged that day and getting upset frequently. Being an individual sport there is no team that shows up most days, it's just the individual and they have shit in their lives that make it tough to compete at the highest level each day. At majors they lock in but at smaller atp/wta events, they just show up and play but their lives are continuing outside of tennis with distractions and personal issues.
