Theres a huge problem heading towards the entire tennis world, and its going to get really ugly...it will shine light on all the falsehoods of how the WTA operates, and has essentially been stealing resources and money from the ATP for the past decade, and the men arent going to let "political correctness" silence their very fair arguments much longer...equal pay for both tours at majors was a huge can of worms which was never justified...the only WTA events that truly obtain high turnout from fans are the ones where both men and women play at the same complex at the same time...when they are at seperate locations on their own respective tours, the differences between both tours public draw is mind boggling...its time someone had the balls to stand up to Billie Jean King and have an honest, factual debate which is based on the reality of the situation, not feelings...bravo to Pospisil and Djoker for having the guts to start up the PTPA and proceed with its advancement...now more than ever this is needed to protect the integrity of the ATP in the face of what Osaka and her team of enablers are trying to pave the way for by her recent actions:

something is seriously wrong with Osaka. I mean sweet girl but like most women don’t judge the book by it’s cover.
most of the women do their duties. For some reason she can’t? Nothing in life is free. You want the nice things and money you’ll have to sacrifice. Of course there’s stress. Deal with it.

Not sure you can sum up the issue better than that.
I remember someone calculated how much a WTA slam winner makes per point and it was about $2000. For men it was about $700.

I’ve read the atp pretty much subsidizes the WTA and there have been vocal players in the past. With Serena all but gone they can’t even justify ignoring business at this point kudos to the joker.
I follow all levels of the WTA the wta doesn’t market anyone outside the top 5 I have no idea where the revenue would come from. I’d do a better job of scouting young talent then whomever works for the wta.
