Hats off to this guys long time grind and determination to keep getting better and work on his game, fitness and fundamentals. His career has blossomed over the past year, and given the weak consistency of this era's players ranked 5-20, he can easily find a top 10 place to call home within a year. He reminds me so much of Mardy Fish and Todd Martin and Smith Barney...he deserves all the future success that comes his way because he did it the old fashioned way.
As a quick aside to prop another mid-20's aged guy, good on Taylor Fritz for his consistency and quality play over the past year,,,but more impressive is how he consolidated the break and made an honest woman out of Morgan Riddle who lives her life on social media creating content as a Pro Tennis player's fluffer, I mean girlfriend, I mean soulmate
