Looking forward to a big day today. I had a couple plays yesterday I planned on from yesterday that I left alone, knowing the matches would be suspended til today. Also, today looks to be the only good day of weather for a while. If possible interruptions are going to plague a match, it can alter my thoughts laying any kind of wood on a match. We start with two tomorrow.
Baez -1-1/2 games +105:
Taking the upstart kid and thinks he carries momentum into his first Wimbledon.
Goffin -2-1/2 games w/ Dmitrov ML: +108
I like old man Goffin here vs Albot, who he has never lost to. A few years since he’s won a match on grass, but Albot has shown me nothing in recent memory. I’m taking the heavier juice on 2-1/2 games difference, by adding Dmitrov, who won’t have issue beating a way out-of-form Johnson.

Play 3: don’t vote for Pedro on Tuesday. Pretty big mismatch if you look at what’s developed lately with Molcan and Pedro Martinez. Heading in complete opposite directions. And Molcan looked much improved on grass in recent weeks. I’m tempted to take Molcan to win 3-0 at +145. But I’ll settle for the 4 setter and throw in Dmitrov, who I’m convinced does win and gets us to just to the happy side of even money.

I got a decent handicap price on Muchova. Can’t see her being buried, like it seems most on the WTA circuit do often times on a bad day. And Halep is so up and down anyways these days. Cornet is playing well coming in and Putinseva has never ever made that leap in a major, and only beats the players she should beat. But she does probably have the best legs on the circuit, so there’s always that!

Play 4: first women’s play +188
Cornet -1-1/2 games + Muchova +5-1/2 games.

Most intriguing match of the first round. Cressy’s volley will negate FAA’s serve on this surface enough to make this a very close match. At first this seemed like one of those that seemed too easy for people to label the upset pick. But I’ve thought about it, and I think this plays out as many anticipate. -4-1/2 games is the standard priced spread. Another possibility worth looking into is at +114 FAA to win, but Cressy wins at least one set. But my decision is to wager what I posted in the prelude to the write up.

Play 6 (probably the last one for Tuesday- perhaps I’ll add something much later as the day progresses)
This one simply works. 3 way parlay which works out plus money and I don’t see an issue with this hitting. Maybe the one hiccup would be Shapo, now that it’s a major, actually having another metamorphosis and playing like he gives a shit.
Sock ML + Kudla +2-1/2 sets + Rinderknech +2-1/2 sets
+104

having watched and gambled on brooksbys previous grass matches , all I can say is that there is something wrong with this kid. he lost against pathetic players
his serve is weak and is inconsistent. I see him regressing despite being top last year
expect an underdog win by the Kazakhstan geezer
The universe will make it happen
so mote it be

Steaming ahead. Baez, Goffin easy winners. Cornet wins. I hope someone didn’t tail these precisely and use a book that graded Dmitrov as a loss. What an awful break. Breezed in that first set and then promptly gets hurt. Goffin win was only -135 and I could have easily lowered the juice to whatever w/out Dmitrov and won at the original price. Pending Molcan bet is also now -145 only. But that’s the one right now that doesn’t look promising anyhow.

Unfortunately Muchova after a 2-0 beginning, got wiped out and still couldn’t cover 5-1/2 games. The very good Halep showed up today. 3-1 today with 2 to go. Need Cressy to cover and Rinderknech later to win one set.

So all my bets are exactly the same amount wagered each time. Then that’s how the numbers are calculated, whether it is 100 dollars a bet, or whatever. Not something I normally do, as usually it’s one pick here and there with a thread for each. But figured it was better assessment overall when I’m picking a multitude of matches on a single day.
