Alcaraz -1.5 Sets / Djokovic/Shelton O8.5 games 1st Set Parlay @ +105 3U
Shelton -1.5 Games 1st set @ +470
Medvedev’s game isn’t as effective against Alcaraz compared to the rest of the dudes on tour. He’s playing excellent and all but Alcaraz doesn’t have the lack of weapons that most players do in order to beat Medvedev. Alcaraz can not only hang with Mwd, but he can run em all down and make the winners. Plus Medvedev’s deep court defence leaves him prone to the drop which Alcaraz is very good at disguising and isn’t afraid to use. Unless Alcaraz is off, I think Medvedev would be lucky to get more than a set here.
Sheltons serve is a big enough gun to keep even Djoker at bay. And Djokovic has one of the greateat service games ever. Should be a tight first set, maybe a tiebreak.
Shelton didn’t look nervous playing Foe in the QF’s at Arthur Ashe during prime time. He came out fired up. Focused! Going for it and completely unrattled. It looked to be like youthful, joyous, naivety. The perfect weapon in this scenario. Not sure if it’ll be the same against Djoker, but he obviously has that sense. He’s not spraying rally balls outside the doubles lines now and he’s confident. There’s no reason this match doesn’t start out 4-4 and the scoreboard pressure combined with difficult receiving games leads to a break. It favours Shelton to falter due to inexperience but it could also be Djoker against the unfamiliar lefty mega cannon. I’ll take 5:1 on this as I think the first set is closer to a coin flip. Excitement, talent and the crowd are on Sheltons side.
With all that said, Medvedev Could win 3-0 and Djoker could serve Shelton a Bagel in the first. I’m tryin’ to tell the future here and it ain’t easy.

One last thought amid the Toni comments on players not being as good as they used to. I’m not sure this is an indication that he’s right or if it’s the competition has gotten better. When Fed, Nadal, Djoker and Murray were all winning majors, they all made a single digit amount of unforced errors in the matches leading up to the quarter or semi finals. Lots of matches had less than 10, once in a while more than a dozen. Again, I don’t know the cause of this but it is happening. More mistakes. Djoker with an excess of 20 all tournament long and at the recent grand slams. It was the first thing I noticed about Feds matches when he stopped winning majors.

Thank you for your insights and words on my post. Now it’s time for me to return the favor ??
If Shelton is going to take a set, it’s the first set. Especially here in NY where I reside, with the rain a coming. That means a closed roof with a big serve. That could be dynamic! I did not hedge my Joker match but I expect him to win in 3 or 4. Not rooting against you but not rooting for Shelton to win anything lol.
Secondly, I am going 3-0 Alcaraz and Med in 4 or 5. If Alcaraz wins 3-0, I make an extra $110. If he wins, I’ll make $2700. Alcaraz has not peaked in my opinion and I think he’s ready to rumble. Meddy playing deep doesn’t help him and playing defense against a magician doesn’t look like a good plan. Meddy hitting winners by intimating the attack is not his style.
Alcaraz to win the title looks like a great wager BUT don’t doubt the GOAT. He hasn’t expended much energy and was wounded in the early rounds. He’s been sharp and would LOVE to get off the court soon. Shelton better hit spots on the big MPH or else it’s like a pitcher throwing straight gas at 98. It’s straight and easy to manipulate. I liked Alcaraz to win this from the get go and I think he will. PLUS with your 4 Units on it, you will have Joker at plus money if he gets down. Pound the games over as well! Hope you liked what I had to say. Appreciate all your words bro.

Most definitely on the same page. Thank you! Much appreciated! Novak up 2-0 and looks like one way traffic.
Alcaraz to win 3-0 +150 ($200)
Medvedev to win 3-1 +950 ($100)
Medvedev to win 3-2 +800 ($100)
I think Alcaraz wins in straights. I would make an extra $100 on top of the $3100. If Alcaraz wins in 4 or 5, I’d make $2700. A Medvedev win that isn’t straight sets (kill me if that happens), I lose 100-200. I feel very confident. That’s it!
