Here’s another match that I am playing to try and build my bankroll for my favorite sport to wager on, which is college football. I will use this match in a 2-team parlay as I have been doing recently and keep the 2nd team “OPEN” and if I win tomorrow, I will pick a college game and team in 2-weeks’ time to complete my 2-team parlay.
Brady, J. -370 USA 28 yrs old ranked #428
Birrell, K. +281 Australian 25 yrs old ranked #112
Note # J. Brady had not played on the tour since Aug. of 2021 because of injuries. She just returned to the tour in July of this year. She recently played some quality players a few weeks back playing the likes of D. Vekic ranked #21, Rybakina # 4, Ostapenko #20, M. Keys #17 and A. Kalinina #28
She loss to Vekic 7-6 7-5 and loss to Rybakina in 3 sets 7-6 6-7 3-6 and she loss to M. Keys 6-4 6-0
She beat Ostapenko in 3 sets and Kalinina in 2 sets 6-2 6-1
Brady comes into this match well rested, having 13 days off since she last played in Cincinnati.
K. Birrell has played 3 qualifying matches in the last 5 days and is coming off a loss to a player ranked #731 and now she is a lucky loser.
Note* she has backed pedaled into hitting the lotto bigtime. She will earn a minimum paycheck of $81,000 and possibly more if she wins by getting to the US open main draw as a lucky loser.
Her record in the last 10 matches is 6W – 4L during these 10 matches she has played players ranked #731 ….150…198…176…627….79….115…526…358
J. Brady has played against some WTA top tier players, top ten and top 20 players quite recently and has a 2-3 record and played exceptionally well in those matches, especially considering she has only played 7 total matches since Aug. 2021.
What I observe that I am getting in backing J. Brady is a very fresh, highly energized, highly motivated player who is extremely happy to finally be healthy again and back on tour and to be playing in the US Open.
She has gotten a very favorable draw playing against a lucky loser ranked #112
In K. Birrell we are getting a player who has gotten extremely lucky and probably feels very satisfied and happy with what she has accomplished already at the US Open Qualies tourney and over the moon by getting a very nice paycheck for her work in the qualies.
Birrell will come into this match with a little less confidence from losing in her 3rd match in the qualies to a player ranked #731
Note* here’s a big thing, K. Birrell is Australian and has not been back to her home or in her country and around her family and friends only for a few days since Feb. of this year. Believe me when I say this long-extended period without being around family and friends and sleeping in your own bed and eating your mom’s cooking and hanging out with friends takes a huge mental and emotional toll on any person.
Is it possible that K. Birrell can come into this match tomorrow on fire and serving well and her groundies being precise and on point …Absolutely
Is it possible that J. Brady can come into this match playing like a player who has played only 7 matches in 2 years and spraying balls all over the court and double faulting like Sabalenka does on occasions…absolutely.
What I feel that I am getting in backing J. Brady is a very fresh, highly energized, highly motivated player who is extremely happy to finally be healthy again and back on tour and to be playing in the US Open.
