Lina is best Macedonian WTA player, she is in GREAT FORM, ytd score 42-11...just great results recently and VERY MOTIVATED for this US open, she was in local newspapers that THIS US OPEN is her way to the TOP.

she is 22 years old, and she is playing 17 year old teen sensation Catherine Bellis, BUT i think Lina has a chance to win this match and also if not winning to cover the spread.

he was just joking around.  i thought it was funny b/c that's how people normally act here. 


Bellis just had the US Open and "home court" experience.  She has a winnable 1st round now that she made it through Qualies.  2nd round tougher.  Vinci doesnt have the power game but she's so damn crafty and not a game Bellis has likely faced.

well, as i said on local papers Lina Gjorcheska was so pumped up, saying this US Open is her chance,...she is 22, Bellis is 17....

But i guess Lina favors clay more and not feeling good on US hard.

i hope they give her a good court/time and dont throw her out on Court 39 at 11am Monday.  It wont be a sexy matchup for the crowds so a favorable court location could really help her out.
