This was actually a really bad call and value for a 250 event. None of the big players cares, especially Zacha, don't think he ever won a 250 title.

Pegula played almost 3h against Giori and didn’t impress. Bardosa and Sabalenka played yesterday so they are rested. 
Sabalenka is also out of the singles and I think she will want to stay in Madrid as long as possible this week!
