I'm seeing a lot of love for Fritz over De Minaur tonight. Why? I would love to hear some opinions.
I know De Minaur's game has really regressed since covid. But Fritz lost in the 1st round of his last 3 tournaments to Ramos, Duckworth, and Kudla. This doesn't exactly fill me with confidence, nor do the many double faults he had in those performances. For what it's worth, I'd give Fritz a slight edge today.
I've seen De Minaur in recent weeks (serviceable play, though not impressed), but admittedly I haven't seen much of Fritz. Are we just going off of slight underdog value, home crowd, and the hope that he successfully serve bots? Would love to hear some opinions cuz this line seems pretty fair in my opinion with not a ton of value compared to all of the love I'm seeing.
Thanks everyone.

That was a bit weird though I saw Fritz at 3.84 after leading 2 sets to 1. So I doubled up my play on Fritz. Though the odds had me scared that Vegas knew something...?

I saw that too. Doesn't make any sense. Fritz leading 2 sets to 1 and yet he still a dog...I thought he got injured or something to cause a weird shift in the live line.

Ya not sure it was a mistake as after a few minutes the odds did switch to a pick em. I was watching live and he still seemed good. But Popyrn had definitely started playing much better.
