Wimbledon -Djokovic winner -132

I know this is the MLB forum but I think this is a very solid wager. Novak Djokovic to win Wimbledon -132   The Slam starts on Monday . 

WHY

Joker is pissed and chasing Nadal for the title of greatest of time, he's at 20 and Nadal is at 22.

Joker would most likely be at 23 if it wasn't for some bad luck - Cancelled Wimbledon at the height of Covid, being thrown out of the US Open for hitting a ball that hit a line judge and being sent home at the Aussie Open for lying about getting vaccinated. Oh yes, he's pissed and he will be focused.

He has won Wimbledon 5 times and 2 top 5 players will not be playing in this slam -Medvedev (he's Russian) and injured Zverev

Even if they were it wouldn't matter to me. Djokovic all day I have a grand on this wager which is 800 more than my average bet.

Nadals worst surface but would be amazing if he could pull off the calendar slam.

 Nadal won the Aussie because he's incredible but more so because Joker wasn't playing. Nadal won his 14th at the French because he was healthy and when he's healthy no one can beat him on Clay.

Joker is a great bet at -132 and Nadal is a worth a shot at the +300 or what ever the number now is . Barring injury Novak to the bank

At -132 to win it all. That’s kind of telling he will at least make it to the final. He is +150 to win the open. I think Novak will make the finals in the next 2 majors.

 I agree, he is the best on grass and hard court .....and is in the top 3 of all time I may add.

it's hard to say who will be the greataest, Federer in his prime was just incredible and he was a point away from beating Joker 3 years at the 2019 final at 36 years old! Nadal is the King of Clay and that's a surface that requires a full tennis games unlike hard surfaces where ball speed can make up for a lot. Joker's all around game is fantastic and I think he will have the most slams at the end of the day.

 I think Joker wins both and is tied with Rafa by years end barring an injury, there is simply no one better than him on the next 3 slam surfaces.

He's going to be hyper focused because he's pissed.....Getting thrown out of the Aussie, his favorite , really must of of burned him as Rafa took it. he loses to Rafa at the french and now only one match separates them all time head to head  w Joker one up but Rafa beating him in more finals.

I'm thinking about putting another grand on Djokovic 

It’s a good bet... joker is as tough as they come... a few of the top youngsters out only helps as these top guys are not young anymore.      I hope fed can come back and compete a few more years... these 3 guys have been a pleasure to watch the last 12-13 years.   Joker will be tough at Wimbledon... beating them 3 outta 5 is a difficult task.
