I&#x27;m hoping other people have discovered ways of profiting from their picks in the past.  For today, betting all picks (except for opposite picks) of top 7 contestants would result in  8 wins and 2 losses.

Following hot pickers of Ultimate Race has advantages over pickers of other contests.  Unlike league contests, fewer picks are more affordable and hot pickers are easier to identify.  Unlike survivor streak, there is less waiting for picks and pickers don&#x27;t disappear after a loss.  Has anyone done research comparing performance of pickers from different contests?

Couple things:I&#x27;ve been doing this for some time and it can aid in developing handicapping skills. I have an excel program set up to monitor the hot pickers - but, also look for most popular overall picks for each day and then try to determine why this pic was so popular.So far Philly, LAD, DET and CHIC are most chosen:Add to this: Det and Phillies have minimal &#x27;counter picks&#x27; followed by LAD

Incompetence and lack of time are reasons in favor of following hot pickers. Another reason is that the majority of gamblers lose money but a minority profit. Psychologically, blaming other people is healthier than blaming yourself.

In recent 2 weeks, most popular picks of top pickers are profitable 22-9. Of course, 2 weeks is short and a better test is performance over a longer term.

I am sure they have something set up that compiles allthese picks and they are ready to adjust their line quicker when action starts coming in on one side.  I would think this was some of the insight when offering these contests.  So as always, if you dont get the line early enough its no advantage.  Play smart and you can beat them at their own game!

i&#x27;ve been doing this for fifty yrs,after the all star break watch out for the dogs,betting them will make you a profit at the end of the season,proven fact,65%&amp;up,see we call you guys squares hear in vegas,i&#x27;m a sharpy, they see me coming and them become very leary of what they will give me,,,,  I&#x27;m one of the few who are successfull in this game of gambling,if you really want to make money in sports, be a bookie, I,m sitting on 3 mil right now cause these squares here in vegas love &amp; I mean love to lay the faves,were talking 2600 to win a dime (1000),do the math &amp; you&#x27;ll see what I mean,start out taking what you can afford to lose, &amp; go from there,after you build a clientell sit back &amp; count the profits at the end of each mo.Forget trying to beat this game of picking winners,just the juice alone will kill you.                                         happy trails

ed you confused me a bit,first you say you win,then to be a bookie,then you go to forget about winning,juice will make you a loser.

So which one are you,winner-book-loser,not trying to bash you at all,just curious as to your point,and I agree very few make money at this,but I dont lose very often and get paid enough times to be able to keep it as a hobby for me.I have a good job to pay my bills,I dont even pretend I could make a living doing this,lol

Like Ed said, tryin to make a living out of pks is not smart.  The shit goes hot and cold.  U could have easy money/easy win, but u could instantly get upsets  like the NFL, and NCAAF this past weekend!(&#x27;Bama and Michigan)

No integrity here. You can copy anyone&#x27;s  picks anytime. Anyone can copy your picks anytime. A simple upgrade could provide some well deserved sanctity by simply changing one aspect. If a player could not see anyone&#x27;s  picks until they had submitted their own picks. END of STORY. Maybe this would end all the copying nonsense once and for all. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

&#xD;&#xA;Your proposed upgrade wouldn&#x27;t change anything.  I have a friend or two on this site - as do many others.  If I was challenging for first and/or the top 25, I could just have a friend pick first and then forward me the intel.
