We're tied at 199… can't see each others picks.

Wondering who you got?

I got Mets -126 and submitted it around 11:20 mountain time if it comes down to tie breakers.

Couldn't submit by picks earlier for some fucked reason.

Written right in the rules

For example, any participant at the 199-win level to start a new day, will have the opportunity to make one selection only. If that selection loses, they may make another selection on that day if more games are on the board once their game is graded from a pending status - to a completed status.


Well thats just a friggin joke because we have our first picks of the day completed and its not letting us pick. Great job Covers.

The guy at Customer Service was useless and hung up on me when I questioned what was going on haha.

He said nothing I can do and I've tried everything in my power to help and he's the only one in so he just hung up.

They should update those rules.  I thought I was going to get another pick today too with first being a loser.

I hear you man. Its an absolute joke that they can't even follow the rules and then when you question them they act like a baby girl and hang up. Real manly of them.

Absolutely right.  Those of us sitting at 199 should be able to pick now.  After playing this for 2 1/2 months, I and others have a chance to at least win $200 in the 7-10 positions still available.  What a shame.  Those affected by this should all be  paid $200 for this huge mistake

I said the exact same thing on the phone to them and in the email. I wouldn't have bothered playing in March and wasting my time had I known they can make their own rules up on the fly and not follow the rules stated. They've cost me money for sure as i was in 5th since Monday. Bush league

And I'm not a selfish guy at all either, they should just follow the rules stated… Tuesday it should have been myself and jmspsu83 closing the race out because we should have had a pick at 5 ish and then later at 8 or whatever and then today it was a lot more people who have now had this happen. Its crazy!

I am in the same boat sitting at 199 I made a pick earlier and it lost now I am not able to make another pick. I am not sure what is going on but when I won a race in 2008 I was able to make another pick when the pending pick I had lost. I agree they should pay everyone who is at 199 wins the $200 for not being able to make another pick. This is unacceptable and like RF1 said it is written in the rules!!

I would try e-mailing covers it seems when I emailed them in the past they responded to my concern in a timely manner and resolved my particular issue.

Emailed them and it's the same thing can post the emails. They're almost upset we are asking what is going on

It really is only $200 and I won't go broke or rich if I get it... But it's the principle of the matter. Myself and jmsp should have been able to close it out yesterday and it's frustrating because even the rules state it lol

Correction. That e-mail was for a chance at $200.

I was at 199 a day or two before that and had a PPD (Mets vs. Pirates) still with a chance of winning $1,000 or maybe it was $700. 

I called and had a conversation with someone at Covers about the way the Rules were written... and that my PPD was graded... so I should immediately have the opportunity to make a new pick.

I obviously didn't get anywhere with my argument.

I was 2 wins away from $5,000 and all I got was a BIG FAT GOOSE EGG. Oh well!

Good match and Congrats to kstew15, barsmith, & Vicktimizers.

It was fun!

Mike at customer service is incorrect. Simply read the rules. What a waste of 2 1/2 months. I, and others stuck at 199, should get 2-3 picks a day if we play it right. I may die at 199 after I had a chance to finish in the top 10.
