If this is truely an ultimate race to vegas based on a sports bettors talent to earn money, then making us pick across four different sports leagues is wrong.  People who make money at this put it on their strongest picks, not caring about getting a bet down on each different sport.

The only way to see how much money you could have actually earned by placing 4 sports bets per day is to allow the players their 4 strongest picks.  People who don&#x27;t make money betting sports would then know if they should start making money betting on sports.  It can also tell you to stay away.  They need to add a stat where they keep track of  $$$ assuming 1000 bet per game.

Especially when some people don&#x27;t have to pick all sports.How is it that the leader of the race has no College BB picks for tonight BEFORE the games have tipped off?  (I understand that if you wait until games go off, you can avoid certain games)There has to be one set of rules for all players...  if the leader doesn&#x27;t have to pick College BB, then I shouldn&#x27;t have to.

If you make your picks early and College BB is not available, then you don't have to pick it......it's that simple.

well said bilbyg27 the point of the race is to pick from up to 4 different sports........if you only want to pick one sport do a league contest but even then im sure they wiill find something to cry about. because they can&#x27;t win. if you don&#x27;t like soccer don&#x27;t play soccer..........if you don&#x27;t like the race that makes u pick up to 4 different sports.........DONT PLAY...........FREAKING BABIES

League contest only let you pick one sport.  Covers is about making money betting on sports.  They don&#x27;t have a contest that shows what the websight is all about.  Changing this stupid rule on the ultimate race would fix it.

hbpinball, with all due respect: this site isn&#x27;t about making money, its about everyone having fun trying to win a prize. there are rules set in place to make it different. why don&#x27;t you play survivor then......that will test your knowledge. i assume your record will be around .500 or lower.........no offense............if you were that good or anyone on here was you would be betting real money and wouldn&#x27;t be on this site trying to win a hat or a covers hoodie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So you are saying everyone in this contest can not make money by betting on sports.   Is that why you are in the race?  Covers is fueled by ads that sell picks and ads for online books.  Covers provides key info on sporting events.  Saying covers is about fun, and not about earning money by betting sports, would be bad news to its advertisers and its users. no, im just going against your arguement. the fact is, im sure most people on this site do drop a little dough on a game here and there. thats where the advertisers win. IT's just in general thought, people don't come to this site to earn a living its more for fun.

and yes congrats on being in #91 i am barely above .500, however i did finish 9th place a few races back....which im proud of. finishinng top ten........think it says something!! but seriously good luck in the race, thank god its to 200 gives me a little more time to make up for the bad picks i have been making.

one more thing lets not get away from the point you were making. "they should change the rules" they started this event with the thought that people would have to choose a game from up to 4 different sports.it is in my opinion that it works going by the growth of users. you want it so you can pick any four games from any sport....that would defeat the purpose of the contest.....what you should be doing is arguing to get a new form of contest started instead of changing a current game. you have been a member for two months and you already want to make over the website. I can&#x27;t speak for everyone, but most people love the race and like the challenge of picking up to 4 different sports..........but seriously good luck in the race and i hope they start a new type of contest in the future that is set up for the style you are looking for

This sounds like that old line about "paralysis from analysis" or something. Anyone who thinks these people are in business for you to make money are nuts. You might be in it to make money but they ain't in it for you to make money. If they were paying out (winnings) more than they were taking in, they wouldn't be in business. Quicher bitchin' and just play or get out.
