why is it that some players can make 2 NHL picks or 2 NFL picks and forego having to pick from one of the other sports contests when most of us have to pick 1 from each of the 4 categories when there are 4 listed on that day

I have read what you're saying LazyBoy and I have also read the rules, but I don't know that you are understanding what I'm saying about the picks. Today, Oct. 28 for example.... there were games listed in four separate sports, NHL, NCAAF, NFL, and MLB. When a player picks one game or O/U from one sport that sport disappears and you are left with the other 3 to choose a pick from and so on until your 4th pick only leaves the ONE sport that you haven't picked yet. Some players have two picks in the NHL or two in the NFL and get to bypass picking any from one of the 4 sports categories. How is that?
My only point is that it doesn't make for a level playing field if we can forego picking from a sport we would rather not touch and all others must pick across "various sports" as the rules state. I really don't want to make a huge issue about it, I am just wondering how it is happening that a sport is repeating for some and not others.

Ok LazyBoy, I have read some more and have seen the answer about the lines not being available at times, etc. My question has been answered by you in another posting and by a Referee posting as well....... Thanks for helping me to understand what was happening!
