Don&#x27;t you get a replacement pick, if you pick a game that get&#x27;s postponed, where&#x27;s the logic in that, and the worst thing is, that it was  an indoor event.

I agree that it sucks, it happened to me where an NCCA basketball game was cancelled due to no refs for the game a few weeks back.

I had the same reaction you did, but after re-reading the rules, its very clear what the policy is. At least we're all playing under clearly defined rules which is more than you get in most contests. This is a well run, fair contest in my opinion.

i almost for sure lost a cap, (probably not a hoodie, at least,) on the last contest when some arbitrary glich came up to cancel a winning pick. however, someone else has the cap, and the world moves along.

for a really bad screw-job, completely lacking in class, check out 'shawnee922' in the all-stars section of the survivor contest. she had an 18-game streak going in 2001 when the 9-11 events occurred. twenty-in-a-row was what it took at that time to get all the money. all sporting events were cancelled for a number of days so she lost by default. the operators of this site, who were different than the current ones, chose to take the low-road, and did not give her the extra days after sporting events were re-started to continue her streak. that is not a group competition, but an individual effort, so i thought it was pretty tasteless, in my humble opinion. but it was according to the rules, so i'm not to bothered about LOSING MY CAP.

by the way, nettie, did you win a hoodie in race number three? is it for sale? it would be a lot cheaper for me to buy it from you than to jump back on gorgeous george's coat-tails trying to win that new car, which i am going to do anyway. she is hot again.

Yeah Karb, it&#x27;s in the rules, but we are being penalized, for something we have no control over, and that&#x27;s not fair. If I was the one, that caused a blizzard, then I would be at fault.                                        P.S. Sorry Kaos, Get Smart says it&#x27;s not 4 sale.

It is in the rules so what are you crying about. Now you want to change the rules mid-stream. I can understand your disagreement if it were not in the rules, but it is clearly stated, sorry, you loss. Quit crying sour grapes

GeneralChaos she may be nice but she is crying up the wrong tree, the rules clearly state what happens with a postponement or cancellation, maybe she should read the rules before posting and crying about the logic. Just stating the rules that the game is played by, everyone wants to change this or that, play it by the rules in place or do not play, simply put. Not being rude to anyone. They are being rude by complaining and crying about the rules that are in place. Good luck!

NO kidding pj-vio, it&#x27;s in the rules, {T99, thanks} but anyone who picks a postponed game is being penalized for something they have no control over and how difficult can it be to allow another pick.You get 4 picks a day and if one is canceled, you get screwed and can only go 3-0, while anyone without one can go 4-0. Plus, this was an indoor game, where you don&#x27;t have to check the weather report, like you do if you are picking a baseball game during the spring Ultimate Race.JUST CHANGE THE RULE ! -the world won&#x27;t explode if you do.                                                                                        P.S. Sorry KAOS, I&#x27;m divorced and I&#x27;m not going down that road again, lol

I don&#x27;t hear Nettie crying.  She is merely pointing out an inequity.  But, like anything else, if the rules do not make the game fair for everyone, they can, and should be changed.  Examples:  A politician cannot vote to have his salary raised.  A second baseman cannot drop an easy fly to double a runner from first. MLB instituted the infield fly rule.  The NFL now prevents crack-back and helmet to helmet tackles.  The NBA now prevents goal tending.  FIDE instituted En-Passant. (Anybody remember that?)  Etc., etc.  Everyone changes the rules if an existing rule causes an imbalance. The Push thing is a non- starter.  Pushes are part of any sport that is handicapped. (But a blizzard canceling an indoor football game?)  If you called that, I want to hire you as my personal handicapper.
