Why did the two top guys in the race only pick 2 games each today??

Both guys I noticed only picked 2 games? They are 1 win away from winning and all of a sudden they both only pick 2 games?

Was this just an insane coincidence that both guys woke up late or something on the last day?!

 

Just curious! Congrats to all the winners

It wouldn't let us pick more than 2. Not sure why.  Rules are vague. Had I known that I would not have picked WNBA that is for sure.

Once you reach 197 wins, you are only allowed 3 picks that day.  At 199, you are allowed one pick to start, but you can pick another that same day, if your first pick ends with a loss.  So it is wise to pick an early game with your lone pick, you have nothing to lose, and you still may be able to pick up to 3 games total that day in order to get your 200th win.

At 199 Wins. NYM vs. PIT just got PPD Rain. Rules state I don't get to make another pick tonight. I checked the Weather Forecast last night for tonight for Pittsburgh and saw 15% chance of T-Storms. 100% chance some lousy Weather Forecaster will cost me some good money. It is what it is but I'm not sure I agree with the PPD rule... at any point of the Ultimate Race, in a PPD rain situation, if there is still a game on the board, I think a new pick should be allowed. I'm now a Bigger Fan of Retractable Roofs. Great Contest though!

But what happens at 198?  It doesn't say.  That was the situation we were both in.

Not trying to rub it in jmspsu but I was going to take the Mets too then saw the weather forecast and didn't want to take a chance.  I ended up going with the Tigers.  I can't believe it won't let you take another pick.  I feel for you.

I got robbed out of  a few plays early one, which kinda brought me out of the contest. They wouldn't let me submit them. I had 3 plays within 3 days that wouldn't go through and all of them were winners. But my O/U is what killed me. Had I reversed my O/U plays just faded every one of them I think I would of won the contest. lol I will try it like that next time
