Why not omit preaeason baseball?

I love this race, love what you guys do and COMPLETELY understand this is a free contest so I am not complaining, just suggesting. ..

Why not just remove preseason baseball from the race?

There is a ton of other, real action available, so why make people pick games that don't count? It is the biggest complaint/headache of the race, so just eliminate it and alleviate problems before they occur.

I'm guessing they want a random element to it, to make the contest more of a challenge. As preseason MLB is impossible to cap

I've been doing well in it though so can't complain. I have not lost a MLB pick yet. I haven't lost an MLB pick since last season, maybe sometime in August. Can't remember, it's been so long!
