I will probably say that he was right for the under so his record still perfect.......
The disappointment I feel isn't about losing the game, but for not winning the game for an 18th straight year for everyone who put their faith in me.
Not everyone got the first 17 and a lot of people only got #18. It just wasn't meant to be last night.
Need to go see one of those spiritual people who channel up spirits and ask her to call up Dimaggio's so I can ask him how he felt inside the day after his 56 game hitting streak came to an end.
If God had come to anyone 20 years ago and said to them, "I will give you 17 straight Super Bowl winners in a row before you lose your first, but understand the devastation you are going to feel when you lose your first is going to be unbearable." Do you want that?
There isn't a soul on the planet earth who wouldn't have taken that deal.
I am a realist and I knew at some point it was going to come to an end but to have to cross that bridge sooner than later is something I just didn't think would happen today.
Not with the Colts, not with Peyton Manning, not last night.
Up 17-16, with the ball at the Saints 32, having just picked up a 4th and 2, just over 12 minutes to go in the game, you just expect the Colts to go in there and score, go up 24-16, watch their defense get the stop and then Peyton closes out the game.
It's what the Colts do. What I handicapped them to do. What I've seen them do countless times before but on this night I saw them run for 2 yards and then 2 questionable play calls on 2nd and 3rd down led to the missed field goal and GAME OVER.
I guess when destiny decides to back a team, back a city, you don't go against that and it was just destiny for the Saints to win last night and as I found out the hard way, you can't beat destiny.
Tough pill to swallow believe you me.

but this paragraph right here proves that he is a better capper than 99.9% of the people who post around these parts...

he just related to what happened in the game, at a particular time , and the results didnt go like he expected, , how does this make him a good handicapper, or to use your quote better than 99% of the people who post , what did that paragraph prove ? that he knows how to make excuses .

it proves that he broke down the game exactly right... at 17-16 with Manning having the ball in the 4th quarter inside the 30 yard line... as a Saints backer, you were in really bad shape, based on what usually happens in that situation...
he capped the game right!

i wonder about this, too... as far as i am concerned, his streak on SB winners is only as big as it is documented to be... which is maybe 2 or 3 in a row... so i don't care about that part... but what i do see is that he capped the game right...

A few years from now, when the game is looked back on, it will not matter if Peyton was up 17-16 and going for the jugular, yada, yada, yada...........
All that matters is who gets the cash.
