As long as Covers continues to allow themselves to be a training ground for touts, why the hell not?

covers posting forums = the minor league farm system for touts
 
 
just curious, has covers.com ever considered paying some of these "hot" posters to not go tout and stick around on covers.com? 
 
i gotta think that the web stats covers can throw at potential advertisers as far as page views, traffic to site, time spent on certain pages, etc. goes way up when certain posters remain on covers.com rather then leave the site and go tout

There's always another hot capper to take the place of the departed. Drama = traffic.

I'm surprised Covers doesn't sign them up themselves. I guess they are happy with their own "experts"

I have no problem with you, good luck with what you do.

I'm tired of the fake outrage around here every time somebody goes tout. Fuck, Gamehunter got boxed for an eternity just because it was suspected that he was going tout. If Covers really had a problem with this, they would never allow their site to be used that way.

i would bet having his picks here every day draws more long term consistent traffic vs short term drama traffic which would be better for ad revenue potential

i would think a forum guy never becomes a covers expert because then the integrity of the forums would be questioned, so that is why they are ok with them flying the coup to another site - i guess you could say covers does not believe in promoting from within - lol

There is no way a forums cover's poster will be where the coversexperts are..they are in a different league. These coversexperts live right in Vegas and have monster contacts not to mention have tons of experience and cash.

Plus as far as we know AJ is a starving college student..who knows we really know nothing about him..he doesn't even have a description of himself on his website
