What up Holmey -PennState2011 from the lock thread here.Been on a bunch of different forums (cave, rx, here, fb groups with some of the lock threaders, and some other small ones) since CBS got rid of the forums and definitely miss the lock thread. That was my OG go to.You got a facebook? If so let me know and I can shoot you an invite to the page where a lot of the original lock threaders still post - heyjoed, pudge, easykanker420, shocknyall, dbronco, vega, cutter, fattyb, rjk, BK, etc - lots of the horse guys from the LOCK Thread. KilTee is also a member over there but havent seen him post in a while.Good to see you around - still appreciate you setting up the thread for all those years with the gaps in between.

Hey PennState! I definitely remember you!

I am actually thinking about trying the LOCK Thread here for a little while to see how it goes. I have never posted on Covers, so I am not sure how it will work or if the format is workable, but if you spread the word with the Old School, maybe we can get a good couple months on here. Lots of names in your post that I remember too!

I haven't done Facebook in years. Probably couldn't get onto my account even if I wanted to!

I think you could definitely just start a thread each day and figuring it would get enough activity it would be bumped to the top most days.

Key would be to figure out what forum to use as the MODs here seem pretty strict as if there are non-college bball picks in the thread in the CBB forum they may try and move it.

I just posted this link on the FB site to see if any of the old Lock thread guys have covers accts.

Great. Thanks man. Not sure I am ready to commit to the tons of work again, but it would kinda be fun to start over and not have it be this giant thing from the beginning. It might be fun to rebuild from the ground again. The best year of the Original LOCK Thread was that 2007 year when I first started it.

I'll think about it a little more......

Yeah definitely lot of work.Not entirely sure if you can post a picture here.CBS was awesome as many good cappers would find the forum looking at the expert picks and would start posting. Loved the accountability over there.

Looks like the mods already moved the thread to "Website Promotions". This is not a good sign. If its an actual LOCK Thread picks thread, do you think they will leave it in CBB?

Not sure I am up for dealing with this garbage. I wonder if they knew that the old thread on CBS used to get 1500 posts and 150,000 hits a day if they would let the thread stay, lol

Not sure if it would work if it was just strictly picks.

Yeah I don&#x27;t think so. Only thing I could imagine is them saying that it spans multiple sports so does not belong in the CBB forum. I hope they leave it alone as CBB is the place to be at this time of the year and would have the most traffic.

At this time, 90% of the LOCKS tend to be CBB, especially if it is on a CBB board.  Even if a few people post an NBA or NHL LOCK, it doesn&#x27;t mean it has to be moved, right?

You could always do it in the general discussion forum, or one of the other less trafficked sub-forums, if they have issue with sports cross overs.
