I currently have $6,547.35 to win $42,010 on Alabama to win the National title. It comes out to odds of about +641.
I am looking to sell this action if anyone is interested. I would be willing to sell $2,100 if you don't want to buy the entire amount.
Also, as I am fully aware of being new to these forums, I am willing to go to extensive detail to make you feel comfortable. I'll provide account details(the wager is on Bookmaker), personal details, etc.
Anyhow, please PM me if anyone is interested. Would sell the entire bet(so $48.6k if it wins) for $5,700.

I can do Paypal or Bookmaker transfer. PayPal probably more comfortable for buyer, but I'm willing to go to extremes to verify everything about me and the wagers(there are actually 3 totaling a bit over 6500.)

I get the snarky post from the "veteran" message board poster above. It's the internet.
But if anyone is seriously interested, PM me. You're getting about 7.5 to 1 and last I checked they're around +580. So lots of equity here. PM serious interests and we can move forward if you feel comfortable.

Thanks for the offer but I can't sell it at that price. Oregon's loss tonight should almost guarantee Bama can lose 1 game and still make the playoffs.
Thanks, and if anyone is seriously interested I'll listen, but no sense in getting lowballed at this point based on the value I have on this future.

Understood on not liking the price.
Oregon's loss does little to nothing to "almost guarantee" that Bama loses 1 game and still makes the playoffs, however.
You were getting "low-balled" because you wanted to already buy off on a bet that has not changed in expected value. Nothing that has happened so far this season has made your chance to win or lose that bet change.
You were also getting "low-balled" because there is an inherent risk (and difficulties) in cashing that bet from an online book, as well as the fact that on something of that size, you would be ridiculous not to pay taxes on it which lowers your payout by a good margin.
The offer was low, but lets not have any misconceptions about the situation you are in. Oregon was not one of the few teams out there that can beat Alabama.

Dos...not sure if you're alluding to me as the douchebag or him for the price, but going to assume based on the nature of forums it is me. I declined a $4750 offer on a $6500 wager. It's a discussion, nothing "douchey" about it.
LS--
Whether or not Oregon can beat Alabama is not what I was aiming for. Sorry for the confusion.
Rather, an undefeated Oregon team gets a playoff berth over a 1 loss Alabama team. If both teams lose 1 game, Alabama gets the edge. That is my only point, and that absolutely adds EV to this wager though how much we can debate. As does beating Florida(very slightly.) There is a reason Alabama was +540 going into this week and the wager I received was +640. I am absolutely giving up EV by selling a $6500 wager for $5.5k(and $4750, of course) when the line has adjusted 50-100 points in my favor. Of course, it's betting futures, so I'm giving up EV to start with :)
BUT--I will agree with you 100% on all your other points. Wouldn't say there is a risk in the terms of getting the money as it's Bookmaker, but there is certainly an inplied risk for the buyer not knowing me(which I would handle, of course) and like you said just the general pain in the butt of cashing 50k from a book(series of bank drafts is my plan.)
Anyhow, "low ball" is a bad choice of words and I apologize for that. We both agreed the offer was low but I didn't mean to insult you by using a taboo phrase like that. Thanks for the offer.

Odds on Bama have moved to +800. Drops the value of my $6,500 wager down to $5,400 at Bookmaker($5400 @ 8:1 would pay $48.6k, which is the bet's payout.)
Dropping the price down to $4,200 if anyone is interested.

Bumping this. Looking for an opportunity to hedge my bet here. I haven't seen any updated lines, but anyone has one please post.
I'll listen to any offers that can be mutually beneficial(value for you, guaranteed profit for me.) Will also pay the bet out via cash within 2 weeks of completion if it hits.
