Do not under any circumstances sign up with this on the go CC processor. Do your own DD. Sure if you are running anything under $50 it could work but they are NOT A BANK and not regulated by the government. Example : I had 2 different clients order computer equipment through me. They wanted the points on their corporate CC. I figure ok no problem. I did one transaction for $3000 and the other was $2500 the next day. To my dismay Amex and Chase both approved the transactions and after speaking with them said their was no issue on their end. Square decides they want to investigate the charges. I have had their service for 12+ months NEVER a chargeback or issue. So they decide they want more info. I call there is no one to talk to. Only email. Both my clients sign a letter authorizing the amounts and their approval they get them notarized and I email them in. I was told they are NOT a bank and if I read the F'IN fine print of their terms and conditions they have the right to hold any funds they deem suspicious for 90 days and up to 180 days. AS THEY SEE FIT. So I respond with a written letter from my attorney and my clients letters and even letters from AMEX and Chase. They respond it's their right to investigate. My clients have now disputed the charges and are beyond upset. I see class action lawsuits coming against them in CA. STAY THE F-CK AWAY !
