Skylar back after a year off and with an entire new team. DT came back slightly last year but was terrible. Griner has a lot to do in the paint with the Sparks bigs. Mercury going with just a small roster and Sparks look good this year with majority of their roster staying from last year with some great additions (Augustus from Lynx). Parker seems to be enjoying life in the bubble and I think with Nneka, those two are one of the best partnerships in the league.

Good to see you are still kicking ass here. I was flipping the channels and randomly tuned in to the Sparks game. What a blast from the past, Taurasi is still around !
How are you guys not betting the house on 1H overs for the openers ? Looks like no D is a guarantee and the girls are missing the action too much not shoot like crazy in the 1Hs.
I even thought about driving to Vegas to bet on tomorrow's games, but decided against it. Too much hassle with the virus thing going on, and too much of a short notice. PHX 1H/1Q and maybe even FG line on their next game also looks good. But alas I am not doing internet betting until it is legalized in California. And I do not see myself driving to Vegas, just to scratch that itch.
Good luck, Aussie and all !
PS Tomorrow's televised game looks especially juicy for the 1H overs; no matter who is playing and what the line will be ;)

Good to see you Fazz and great hit on the Storm. Didn't get to watch the game as it was 2am Sydney time. Liberty losing Nurse will only dampen their chances of winning any games IMHO. They will be lucky to win 5-6 games with that roster.

Cheers Casey. It was a long off-season wasn't it? Crazy times we are all going through right now but definitely glad to see the ladies back out on the court and if the tempo and stays like what we saw today, I think we are in for an electric shortened season.

Where the hell have you been hiding Axion? I am well mate. How are you going? Was over in the LA and Vegas this time last year. Wouldn't have been good to catch up. Yeah I wasn't expecting such high scoring 1H's considering the ladies have been out of the game for sometime but definitely little defense. Retrospectively, we all should have faded Indiana first game as they didn't get much of a chance to train with each other as they were the last time to arrive into the bubble due to so many of their players having Covid. I don't even think they had a chance to scrimmage against another team but there were too many "if's and buts" for me with this Mystics team seeing they have lost several key players. For instance, Myisha Hinds-Allen saw about 40 mins of basketball last season, comes out first game and torches it. Great game from her.
Going to try and do my best to post the injuries and see and hear about.. Think its going to be very tough season to get all the injury info. What I do like about it all being centralised in one city is that the women don't have to worry about travel, they can get more time to rest and recover and there are no B2B games either which is great.
Good to hear from you Axion..
