As the great Steve Irwin would say "CRIKEY", the Sparks went into their pathetic mode again. How does one team play so well against a Mercury team and then play so poorly vs a Sky team who don't defend for their lives. I have never seen such a crazy turn around in form in 2-3 days than that. That was hideous. The Storm played well though. Great depth. Liking Prince and Canada off the bench for them. Russell adds some important points and rebounds as well.
So news today, NURSE is GTD for the Liberty. If she is out, then I think the Liberty will have a starting 5 which consists of 3 rookies along with Clarendon and Zahui B. Can the Wings be trusted though? They just allowed 105 points to a Dream team who were missing so many core players.
Mercury/Fever is another tough game. No way should the Mercury be laying -5.5 even if it is the Fever. Mercury can't rebound, Griner is one of the softest players I have seen when she should be dominating being 6'8. She is all bark and no bite. Skylar is still un-proven in this league, she was good on a Dallas Wings team who sucked for a long time and she tends to make silly turnovers. DT is also pushing her age now as well, she hasn't been the same since 2018. Their bench has no depth but on the other side, Fever have only been together as a team for 7-10 days now because some of their players were kept back due to Covid. This is ugly this game.
Final game, Dream vs Aces. What the hell has happened to Laimbeer's hair? Angel was great in her first game for the Aces and her and A'ja looked great together, they still suck at shooting 3's (they went 0/5) and no idea what McBride was doing the other day but she wasn't her usual self. Dream are a lottery team and I think they will be one of those teams this year that you cannot and will not understand their rhythm or flow. I think one day they will come out and win by double digits, and then next get smashed by 20+. Carter played really well in her debut for the Wings and even Dietrick was hitting her shots off the bench. Not sure what Collen gave them before that game but they were on fire.
Tough day today... Let's do some searching.

Angel up against her old team. Think she puts on a clinic with A’ja and Hamby following. Dream very impressive the other night against Dallas, if Laimbeer still has his nuts intact then he will tell his girls to play some D and not allow the open shots and rebounding which Wings allowed vs the Dream.
