Was waiting on the Lexi Brown situation. She is in concussion protocol so she is out, making this Lynx team very short handed. They lost Christmas-Kelly to a torn achilles so they signed Erica McCall just last night. They are up against some of the best guards in the league tonight and even though Dolson remains out for the Sky, I think they can handle Fowles. Fowles will have to log some big minutes today. After two very big wins against Aces and the Sparks, the Sky look really good. I think they can handle a short-handed Lynx team tonight.

Love your writeups and WNBA thoughts. Thank you so much for posting.
Question--I've noticed you often skip the first game of the daily schedule, and often post at different times. Is there a usual time that you post so I can be on the lookout for your plays and writeups?
Thank you again!

Thanks for the kind words Magos.
Sometimes I miss the first game purely for time zone reasons. Before COVID, some of these lines weren't coming out until really late at night and just couldn't stay awake for them. Mostly Eastern games were starting 2am, 5am etc. With this whole bubble situation, they appear to be providing much better updates on players and the line-ups are being confirmed at least 20-30 mins before tip-off. The only thing I can say is, when I post it will be once the line-ups have been confirmed (I use www.rotowire.com for that) because in this league (pre-COVID) it was always hard to get the full injury lists. Some teams were holding it back until almost tip-off.
I do sometimes post early if I know the line ups and there are no injury concerns. Say for instance today, there was no injuries that I was aware of for the Storm/Mystics game. I didn't play it because I only post 1-2 plays per day and that game didn't feel right at all. Storm coming off two double digit thrashings and the Mystics have been playing well.

Oh and also Magos, the Aussie books sometimes post early lines but are completely bogus so I also wait out some of them. Last night, they posted Storm -1.5 and I thought "that seems awfully short for this game". Didn't take it, then I woke up this morning and saw -7.5 and I thought that was very fishy. So I just sat back and didn't force a play. I try and be disciplined and usually make 1-2 plays per day max. But with the NBA also starting now, that might increase.

Got it, thank you Aussie. So much of your WNBA handicapping is based on the lineups that the teams put out, and those often do not become publicly available until an hour or so before the game?
