Home dogs and UNDERs have been gold so far this season,...I expect some regression to the mean going forward.

Wings -3  Fever  149

Wings and their ugly ball come home to Dallas.  They try harder than any team in the ,league, who says you can't coach effort?  Dallas and LA are prime examples of the difference that a coach can make.....good or bad.  LA has the best talent in the league by a country mile, but so far this year they have played like the 4th or 5th best team.   Dallas minus a Liz who had about the best individual season in woman's basketball history last year and minus Skylar are finding ways to win games.

Storm -10  Dream   147

Looks to me that Nicki has lost the team.  She sat the under performers against the Lynx, Montgomery, Elizabeth Williams, Hayes, and Breland, and perhaps they'll sulk themselves into a 6-28 record.  I've been cured of thinking they might have some pride after what went forth in Minnesota....SOOOOO LACKADAISICAL!!!  They can't defend or execute simple pick and rolls and whereas their defensive efficiency last year was among the best in the league, this year it is at bottom.   The Storm. after an unexpected bad effort last home game will be back to their usual selves in this one.  Cannot under any circumstances take the Dream again.

Mercury -6   Liberty  158

Well alright then!.  The Liberty do have a pulse, as their newcomers are starting to catch their stride, as Nurse and Durr learn about the pro game.  If the Aces had either of them instead of Plum they'd win the title.  Mercury hoping Taurasi comes back, but whether she is a help or not is debatable,...she can win games in a hostile environment for you, but her meltdowns can affect the whole team in a negative way as well, and those usually happen at home.

Aces -4  Mystics 166

Aces got clobbered on their home by the Mystics not too long ago 72-95.  Of course they'll remember it, but something is not right with that team, the cohesion and execution, with the exception of the 3 minutes against the Sky last game, just hasn't been there.  Sitting opposite to them is the Mystics who have all the chemistry and cohesion going for them this season.  They haven't needed Della Donne to do too much this season, that's how good they have been.  I wouldn't want to play a half court game if I was Vegas, as they haven't been that good at it this season, but Bill being Bill I would expect that is what he'll attempt to do.  Liz is gonna have to not sleep walk through this one for the Aces which has been her tendency this season.

Didn't see Vegas being a home dog whatsoever.  This is the time to see if Vegas is ready for prime time.  Because Bill is coaching them, you'll see no finesse, beautiful ball tonight.  There will be woman's bodies flying all over the court.

There are one or two games a season for a team where it means much much more than any other game...this is THE game of the season for the Aces, until the playoffs.

If Liz brings her A game then it will be easy, and if she doesn't it will be hard fought, close and down to the last couple of minutes.

Second game the Fever have gone on a losing streak, on the road where they've played the best home teams in the league, mostly very tough with the exception of the debacle at Phoenix.  Their two guards and Dupree are better than anything the Wings have.  Of course Dallas has Agler, who has maximized the minimal talent the Wings bring to the table.  If the Wings were to get someone like Parker or some other talented free agent or trade person next year, this team would be top three with Skylar returning.  It's interesting to think about what would have happened this year had they been able to convince Liz to stay.

I am taking the non-conference away dog in this one, which has been dominant in past seasons in the W in July.
