All these days off bt/w games is silly. The WNBA really is like a soap opera more than real basketball. Who knew Fischer, the GM and the Sparks were internally dysfunctional thus Parker getting no minutes. Who knew EDD after playing max minutes all season and with plenty of rest would have a mysterious back ailment, the only chess piece on the board you could remove to change this entire series.
I've seen enough run and gun, up and down the floor 50%FG these playoffs. This I feel will be the first true playoff game as whoever takes this holds a huge advantage. Reminds me of G1 and G2 in last year's Finals where Wash was at Sea in grinder losses 89-76 and 75-73. Gotta imagine this thing slows way down with so much on the line and the girls playing with so much pace thus far these playoffs. A Sunday early tip in October smells like the perfect spot for a grinder and we get a high total to boot.
