Also, quite a lot of the games / far more than you think are included on services you probably already have:

Ion TV can be streamed on freevee or tubi.

Twitter has games

Amazon Prime Video has games.

ESPN/ESPN2/ESPN3 have games (I'd think there's a fair chance sports betters have ESPN+ at least, if not also cable or some service with ESPN/ESPN2)

I think there are only 2-3 Sun games I won't be able to watch this year, and I live in DC.

Ya the league pass is still a good deal but you may be frustrated if you buy that expecting to watch every game. I think they were all on LP yesterday but that’s a bit rare. As mentioned above, plenty of other services that you might not think of and possibly already pay for are getting in on broadcasting the games.

I am 100% in favour of paying for the games, especially since I would love to see this league grow. I also don’t want to get myself or anyone else in trouble.

With that being said, if you have a reliable place to watch NBA for free then you might take a second look and find W games there too. IYKYK quiet
