YTD: 11-16Desertcapper, I agree mate this season has been a very tough season to cap but keep the chin up mate, most teams have only played 8-9 games so plenty of time to turn it around. Liberty&#x27;s not available list is massive for this game and they should go with Gray at Center now as Zahui B has gone to Eurobasket. Starting 5 should be Durr, Gray, Charles, Nurse and Boyd. Not a bad starting 5 at all but its their bench which is so depleted. They will have just Xu, Raincock-Ekunwe, Wright and Bias. Xu is a rookie as well so they still have 9 players but they should struggle vs the Lynx who are coming off 5 straight losses and one of those was against the Liberty in NY. The other game is Wings @ Aces and Aces coming off that thrashing by Mystics and the Wings coming off a good win vs the Mercury. The issue is, no Glory Johnson and who is going to stop Cambage and Wilson? Wings don&#x27;t have any post players at all and will Cambage be p!ssed off and will she drop 40 on her former team? Waiting for injury updates before making any plays because thats just what I do..

Scoring 10 points lower than last season, the teams with actual talent aren&#x27;t peforming very well (Mercury vs the Wings the other day) and I cannot remember the last time where I saw so many teams score 1-2 buckets per quarter. Some teams are going 20-30% from the field in some games. The WNBL in Australia doesn&#x27;t have that bad shooting but the WNBA this season is a tough one to cap.

That eurobasket has really thrown a massive spanner in the works... the pace has been there but the accuracy is way off for the most part.. I watched the Liberty v Sky the other day and the Liberty were continually making their shots tough to score off..all they had to do was move the other way and they would have had an easy basket.. incredible

Even Katie Smith has called out Tina Charles and asked her to be more aggressive and take the simple shots rather than make it harder. Was watching the Wings/Mercury game the other day and the Mercury stole the ball, ran down the court and rather than pass it to the player coming through (unmarked) Bonner went for the drive her self and got blocked and turned the ball over.

I can&#x27;t stand when they throw these tournaments in the middle of a sports season just when things are begining to formulate some kind of momentum. Like the NBA all star break it throws off the flow also the NFL games in London with all the hype and traveling. Almost seems intentional to throw cappers off.

Its a tough call JerseyDon because the Eurobasket tournament has been around since pre World War 2 so I can understand why they continue the tradition. But i do agree with the all-star weekend, I think its a joke these days and why can&#x27;t they wait until the end of the season so we can vote on the players overall season not just half of it

I also think Candace Parker coming back has ruined the momentum of the Sparks big time.. Fisher had them moving up and down the court at a frantic pace... Now its getting bogged down.. she should be coming off the bench in junk time of each qtr as a defense stop measure. Nothing more!

New York Liberty @ Minnesota Lynx: Over 156.5

The last game against the Liberty, Reeve wanted her girls to push the pace and they did that, they took 69 shots that game compared to their season average of 64. They jacked up 30 three pointers and landed 9 of them, but only went to the line 6 times which is crazy. No Zahui this game to protect the paint and I expect Fowles to shine. I also expect Charles to hit more shots because in her last 4 games, she is shooting just 22% from the floor which is just not usual Tina. The last game hit just 144 points but like I said, the free throws were very low. With Zahui gone, it means that the Liberty may shoot more 3's especially with Durr and Nurse feeling the 3 ball lately. Feel as though the Lynx are needing one of those bust out games where their shots land and the Liberty are a perfect team to do that against as NY play at a quick pace and also allow 86+ points

[/Quote]They didn&#x27;t get any training camp together which is pretty crazy when you think about it and then Fisher just throws her into the starting lineup with a whole new scheme and players. I think they gel eventually and its the best time for them to go through a teething period right now because they have plenty of time to adjust. But it is Derek Fisher, so maybe they won&#x27;t.

Doesn&#x27;t look like anyone is that pissed off for Aces as they let Wings tie it up in the first Q I would think Aces would have a DD lead by the half .
