I took this before I realized they are in the first game of a back to back. Minnesota plays Chicago tomorrow. Then I realized if they win these next two very winnable games they will be a half game out of the second spot. Yes, Phoenix came back and won their last game but it took a major 2nd half effort from Diggins-Smith. Minnesota’s defense is better than Washington’s and Phoenix is just too volatile for me.
1-1 yesterday, 13-9 since first post but bad money management.
Good luck today

Big game for the Sparks tomorrow vs Minnesota so hopefully they do enough to win the game but manage starter minutes. This game will close at 13.5 is my guess, wish I had taken it at 15. Thinking back door cover possibilities here. Atlanta will play hard.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but:
Atlanta +14

Well dang, could it be Phoenix is better without Griner? Definitely misread that game, Aussie nailed it. At least Atlanta helped me nearly break even but for the juice. Oh well.
Another 1-1 day brings me to 14-10 and closer to realizing how I was going about managing my bank roll the wrong way.
Rescheduled games tomorrow. Fever v Sky then Lynx v Sparks. Early lean to the Sky as they are only two games out of the second spot and are coming off two losses in a row including one to the Liberty. Favored by 9.5 in the last matchup vs Fever and covered at 11. Deshields gone from the wubble for Chicago but they were able to win the last matchup without her.
Indy always seem to hang strong but they’re 5-10 for a reason.
We will see. What do y’all think?

Sky has the Lynx on deck after this game with Indy. The Sky won the last game 87-76 with a line of -9.5. I dont like backing the Sky because they can't hold the ball. So many silly turnovers and the Fever can shot the 3 ball well when they want. Really have to see the line first but its a tough game to cap regardless.
The other game has my eye as well. Lynx I feel are slowly starting to miss Fowles. They need that senior leadership on the court. They have looked ordinary in their past 3 games and the Sparks, well they didn't look good today need to keep winning. First back to back for the season and both these teams will be playing on the 2nd September as well, so that would be 3 in 4 nights for the ladies. Sparks hammered them last time and its hard to see Minny turning around there form after a loss to Dream, then a close win against Dream and then today's loss to Phoenix.

You’re right. Fowles is deemed week to week at this point so she might return mid September is my guess. Sparks struggled but they won and winning ugly is what it takes sometimes. I’ll guess Sparks lay 5.5 to 6.5
Seems the Fever have more to play for in terms of desperation but the more I think of it the less I want to try finding something in this game.
